Proposed Activities of the Monastery:
To achieve the main objective through the monastery, following programs are planned:
1. To establish a school to preach Buddhism besides other education;
2. To provide scholarship to economically low and backward class students;
3. To establish a health centre for the underprivileged;
4. To run a mobile health camp to reach the underprivileged of the adjoining areas;
5, To construct Shanti Stupa, a symbol of peace,
6. To construct a monastery for the Buddhist monks;
7. To create awareness of Buddhism;
8. To conduct workshops, seminars and gatherings relating to Lord Buddha and Buddhism;
9. To Construct a choltry for pilgrims;
10. To establish a library of books on Buddhism;
11. To develop a garden in memoriam of Buddha; and to rear animals and birds such as deer, peacock etc.
12. To undertake various programs to educate people to respect every religion and peaceful co-existence;
13. To undertake various activities to create awareness of better living in the society.
14. To establish a meditation centre.
15. To establish an ‘International United Service centre by mobilizing the national and international institutions and individuals . To prepare national as well as international volunteers in order to implement the objective of the monastery. Various such centers can be opened in different places being autonomous to execute such activities. However such centers will be under the umbrella of the International United Service Centre.
